Yocto - It's not an embedded Linux Distribution, it creates a custom one for you

This Project sounds very interesting, to me. I have three 1GHz WYSE Computers, that have WinTerm XP on them and I've been looking for a Linux Distro, that will work well on them and make them useful again. I installed Puppy Linux on one and it runs well. But, I don't have allot of use for Puppy. I would like to make them into Servers. But, with only a 512mb IDE SD card for a Disk. There are not too my Distros that are that small. I'll have to learn more about Yocto... Don ...
