Linux Mint 15 Olivia RC Released

Posted on 12:09 by Unknown
Linux Mint 15 "Olivia" RC had been released. Looks interesting. With both MATE 1.6 is greatly improved and Cinnamon 1.8 Desktops. But, if like me. You prefer Debian to Ubuntu. Then, Linux Mint Debian LMDE 201303 is still the most Current Version, that I saw on the Site, today (05-20-13)...

LMDE in brief

  • Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) is a semi-rolling distribution based on Debian Testing.
  • It's available in both 32 and 64-bit as a live DVD with MATE or Cinnamon.
  • The purpose of LMDE is to look identical to the main edition and to provide the same functionality while using Debian as a base.
