I found an interesting Video on Picking the "Best Power Supply" for the Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi, is an inexpensive ($25 to $35) Computer for Learning and Experimenting with Programming. All on a Credit Card Sized Circuit Board. I'm getting ready to Order a Raspberry Pi for my self. But, they don't come with a Power Supply. I originally thought that I would be able to use one of the several Standard Barrel Connector type of 5 volt or Adjustable Power Supplies that I already have. But, the Raspberry Pi, uses a Micro USB-B Connector. Not the Usual Barrel Type of connector that has been used on Electronics for the Last 30 Plus Years. The Raspberry-Pi-Schematics-R1.0.pdf. Just says, "USB Power Input 5V 700mA min". No mention of the Maximum Voltage or Amps, that it can handle. And the Maximum input voltage and Amperage Rating, is something we need to know. If we are going to have to source our own Power Supplies. I've found a bunch of 5V 1A Power Supplies that are claimed to work with the Raspberry Pi. But, during my Searches for the Best Power Supply, at the Best Price. I noticed allot of People Commenting on the Problems they were having with 5 volt, 1 amp Power Supplies. The Voltages drops, when they Plug in a few USB Devices and the Pi Begins to Malfunction. Especially if you use a USB Hub. I have found nothing official from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. But, it looks like there is still, No Definite Answer for the Raspberry Pi on their Web Site...
Update: I finally found some good info on Some Power Supplies that are known to Work. And some that are known Not to Work with the Pi...

So, Here's what it all boils down to. From what I have read. It comes down to what was written in this Post...

I've been searching on this, for 4 days now!:O I don't think I want a Power Supply that needs a Separate USB to Micro USB-B Cable. Which is how the 2.5v models are made. You also have to buy a USB Cable, that goes from Micro USB-B to USB-A (both male connectors). I'm worried that it may slip out, at one end or the other. When you least expect it. And you will be left wondering what happened... One Micro USB Connection, is enough for me to deal with. They can and do come out very easily, in my experience. So, I'm leaning towards one of the Power Supplies, that have a built in Micro USB-B Cable. That is long enough for my purposes. Also, I've read that they usually have heaver gauge wire in them and can carry more currant - amperage. Than the USB-A to Micro USB-B Cables (as a general rule). I setup my own Custom Google Search, to help me find Electronics and Parts faster. I put in about 85 Electronics Sites that I have found, in it. And it seemed to Speed up my Search, giving me more related Results. And at Online Stores that I have found interesting in the Past. Weeding out all of the extra sites, that usually come up in my Google Searches. Try it out if you like, Don's Electronics and Parts Search (https://www.google.com/cse/publicurl?cx=000998905616149849377:zoir97hnuqg). Use the Search Window, below the Words, Don's Electronics and Parts ... Not the Window Labeled Google, at the Top...

Update: (08-30-13) I finally decided on my Raspberry Pi Setup. I bought mine through Element14.com, at their Sales Site, Newark.com. And I did end up getting the Adafruit Power Suypply mentioned above. And Micro USB Cable. Since, it seems like people are having better luck with the higher 5.25 voltage, that they put out. And I couldn't find one with the Specs that I wanted with a built in Micro USB-B Cable. I wanted to buy mine from Element14 (Newark). Since they have chosen to send me a Free XBMC Bundle for Raspberry Pi Kit to Review. I put the links to what I Ordered below. I'm looking fowared to getting my new Toys. I'm Planning on Setting up my XBMC Raspberry Pi, for my Mom to Watch Online TV on. So, I'll be writing a Review and documenting the process, soon...

Working power Adapters
There is now a 5.25V 1500mA power supply manufactured specially for the Raspberry Pi to account for voltage drop due to the high current draw of the Raspberry Pi when compared to typical (phone charging etc.) duties.Available in UK, EU, USA and AU varieties from Pi Hut and Pi Supply
- Adafruit
- 5.25 V 1 A Model 501 (Newark 44W4932) USB 110-240 VAC power supply [4.99-5.01 V @ T1/T2 with 100 mA BT and/or mini wireless-n on RPi USB ports]

- Ansmann
- Dual USB charger slim, Model-Nr. 1201-0001
- Apple
Note that apple designs its charger products to work optimally as chargers. In practice this means that apple chargers drop their output voltages somewhat with output current, so that the charging circuits do not need to dissipate more heat than is strictly necessary. Because of this, and although many people have reported apple products to power their basic PI setup reliably, its still not an optimal choice for a PI system that uses power hungry USB devices. Also, because of the popularity and high price of these chargers there are many very sub standard, but almost impossible to recognize as fake copies on the market, and some of these fakes are about the worst things you can try to power your PI with! Not only do they not work, they may actually be dangerous to use!- 5 V 2.1 A USB charger for iPad2, model A1357

So, Here's what it all boils down to. From what I have read. It comes down to what was written in this Post...
"I've been using the Adafruit power supply he shows. Interestingly, it is designed to output 5.25V:
This adapter was specifically designed to provide 5.25V not 5V, but we still call it a 5V USB adapter. We did this on purpose to solve a problem that occurs often with USB-powered gadgets: they draw so much current than the resistance of the cable causes a voltage drop, so instead of 5V, the device sees 4.75V or so. To avoid this problem, we made the adapter 5.25V. This is because the USB power specification allows up to 5.25V, and its safe for all 5V electronics, and has the benefit of making up for any loss due to thin USB cables. Basically, you can use it where ever USB 5V power is needed, with no risk of damage, and it will happily work at the full current range, no matter what cable you use!Is there any downside to having a USB power supply output 5.25V? If it's within USB spec, then I wonder why all supplies without a built-in cable don't do this.
