Earth Quakes in Azle TX! Yep, it's real! No, it wasn't the neighbors Brahma Bull. Running into your Wall. It was a Real Genuine... Earth Quake!:O I didn't even know, that this had been going on, for the last week or so. But, last night. I felt and heard it. It sounded like a Sonic Boom. And it shook my chair and desk. And rattled the windows. As I set at my Computer Desk. I thought at first that it was someone slamming the front door. Or it was gust of wind. But, then I realized. That neither of those could shake the floor and my Desk too. My Mom was in the other room. She heard the Boom. But didn't feel anything. She was standing, at the time. She said, ,maybe it was an Earth Quake. Then she told me about the other Earth Quakes, from the last week. So, then I woke up and realized, what was going on!;) Here's some Video and info, below...

Tectonic Summary

Earthquakes in the Stable Continental Region

Most of North America east of the Rocky Mountains has infrequent earthquakes. Here and there earthquakes are more numerous, for example in the New Madrid seismic zone centered on southeastern Missouri, in the Charlevoix-Kamouraska seismic zone of eastern Quebec, in New England, in the New York - Philadelphia - Wilmington urban corridor, and elsewhere. However, most of the enormous region from the Rockies to the Atlantic can go years without an earthquake large enough to be felt, and several U.S. states have never reported a damaging earthquake. The earthquakes that do occur can strike anywhere at irregular intervals.
